In March, Jandamarra ill be exhibiting a unique portrait collection of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander role models at Koorie Heritage Trust Gallery.

Opening night is 16th March 2012 at Koorie Heritage Trust Gallery, 295 King St, Melbourne.

Jandamarra has been nominated as a finalist in this years Deadly awards as Visual Artist Of The Year.

The purpose of the Deadly Awards is to recognise the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to their community and to Australian society. The Deadlys showcases the outstanding achievement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and provides identifiable national and local role models to inspire all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and particularly our young people. The 2011 Deadly Awards will be held on September 27, 2011 at the Sydney Opera House.
